Sago is a native Indonesian plant that has the potential to be developed as food and non-food source because it several advantages, namely high starch content, resistance climate change, being able grow adapt marginal environments. Sustainability of sago plantation management must meet environmental, economic, social institutional aspects. The purpose this study identify dynamics in development plantations forms local wisdom can support sustainable plantations. research method used qualitative approach with Systematic Literature Review (SLR). results article review show faces constraints low productivity unsustainability from social, environmental culture Meanwhile community there are practices have positive effect on five aspects sustainability. However, previous still partial does not focus sector. Research questions about how develop based comprehensive novelty offered answered future research.
